Treyarch has released details of a new Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 patch which “should” launch at some point today, although a Tuesday release has yet to be confirmed.
Taking to Twitter to address fan concerns (via MP1st), game design director David Vonderhaar outlined a few confirmed fixes due to be deployed in the update:
- Theater Mode “UI error 226117″
- Escort Drone glitch (Attacks owner while under the map)
- Dragonfire glitch. (Won’t deploy)
Vonderhaar also said Treyarch is researching a Care Package glitch following reports from some players that the Scorestreak bounces out of the map after falling to the ground. Any fix seems likely to be included in a later patch.
Last night Treyarch pulled fan favourite multiplayer map Nuketown 2025 from online playlists, saying it would be reserved for future “special events”, but following a public backlash it quickly reinstated it in a new “fast-action playlist in the Bonus category called Chaos Moshpit”.
